19th Oakland International Film Festival
September 16-25th, 2021

 

Due to Covid-19, we are planning another virtual film festival similar to 2020.

 

Which means everything one might experience with a physical event, i.e. film, conversation with filmmaker from the comfort of their home.

 

Films selected into OIFF19 will be screened through the Official Oakland International Film Festival website: oiff.org internationally and possibly at theaters in Oakland and The East Bay (depending on Covid-19 by September 2021).

We seek stories of the often voiceless that speak truth to power. We seek to connect these stories to what is happening in Oakland, CA and around the world to inspire community empowerment, equality and justice for all.
