Author Carmen Bogan releases children’s book “Where’s Rodney” with illustrations from Floyd Cooper to tell a majestic story.
She shared her recent attempt to distribute the books in the Oakland Unified School District.
“At first, they claimed they didn’t have the funds.” I wrote a proposal and found the money. They now claim the district does not have a librarian.”
